1. Information we collect
Account details you provide (name, email, phone number, city) and, if you sign in with Google or Facebook, your basic profile (name, email, profile photo).
Order details, delivery addresses, reviews, and messages you send through GharSetu.
Device and usage data such as browser type, IP address, and pages visited, used to keep the service secure and working.
2. How we use your information
To create and manage your account, process orders, connect you with nearby home chefs, and deliver meals.
To send order updates, support replies, and — only if you opt in — offers and newsletters.
To prevent fraud, verify home chefs, and improve our service.
3. Sharing
We share only what is needed: your name, phone and delivery address with the home chef and delivery partner handling your order; payment details with our payment processor.
We never sell your personal data. We may disclose data if required by Indian law.
4. Data retention & security
We keep your data while your account is active and as required by law. Data is encrypted in transit and access is restricted to authorised staff.
5. Your rights & data deletion
You can access, correct, or delete your data at any time from your profile settings, or by emailing support@gharsetu.developercoders.me with the subject "Delete my data". We will delete your account and associated personal data within 30 days.
If you signed in with Facebook, you can also remove GharSetu from your Facebook Settings → Apps and Websites.
6. Cookies
We use essential cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and remember preferences such as theme.
7. Children
GharSetu is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
